Peter Rowan
I was born on January 13, 2007 in Vero Beach, Florida. My musical journey began in 2019 when I received a new fiddle for Christmas. Due to the pandemic, I had lots of spare time on my hands to learn how to play many fiddle tunes. Early on, I was mostly self-taught and learned primarily "by ear" or by watching videos. In 2020 I felt confident enough to start playing with other musicians at local jams and festivals. I quickly learned many new techniques and have been truly blessed to meet an outstanding group of musicians that have helped me tremendously as my playing has progressed. I continue to learn new fiddle playing skills almost daily and look forward to a lifetime of honing my craft and sharing my knowledge and music with others. To find my schedule please visit my facebook which is located at the bottom of the page as a link.
I have recently started singing and playing mandolin, which is very similar to the fiddle. As I continue to get better at fiddle I hope to do the same on the mandolin, but the fiddle will always be my first love. I am the fiddle player in a band called Wyatt Ellis and Friends and I look forward to honing our skills and friendships in the coming years.
